China is located in Southeast Asia near the coastline of the Pacific Ocean, and it is also the world's third largest country. China has an area of 9.6 million square kilometers and a coastline of 18,000 kilometers which gives it a shape on the map like a rooster. Chain's climate varies from being bitter cold in the winter to unbearable heat in the summer.
